Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the corehub platform ("the Service"), provided by corehub ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

corehub is a cloud-based point-of-sale and repair shop management system. We provide tools for inventory management, ticket tracking, customer communication, and business analytics.

3. User Accounts

To use the Service, you must register for an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Subscription and Payments

The Service is provided on a subscription basis. Fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis and are non-refundable. We reserve the right to change our fees at any time, with notice provided to you at least 30 days in advance.

5. Data Ownership and Privacy

You retain all rights to the data you enter into the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a license to host and process your data to provide the Service to you. Our use of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any illegal purpose; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems; (c) interfere with or disrupt the Service; or (d) reverse engineer or decompile any part of the Service.

7. Websites, Pictures and Videos

The Service can build a website for your business. Pictures and videos you upload to it (for example a top-of-page video, or a picture or video behind a part of your website) are only for decorating and presenting your own business website.

The Service is not a video hosting, video broadcasting, live streaming or video sharing service. You agree not to use it to stream, broadcast or share videos, to host videos for use on other websites or apps, or to store files that are not part of your website.

Uploads have size limits. You must own, or have permission to use, everything you upload, and it must not be illegal, offensive or infringe anyone else's rights.

We may remove any picture or video, or limit your website, if it breaks these Terms or uses an unreasonable amount of storage or bandwidth. Where we can, we will tell you first.

8. Domain Names

You can ask for a domain name through the Service. We register it for you with a domain registrar, in your name, using the contact details you give us, which must be true and kept up to date. You own the name; registry rules (for .nz names, the Domain Name Commission's rules) apply to it.

Once it is registered, the price is added to your next CoreHub invoice. The name renews every year about 30 days before it ends, at the price shown in the Service at that time, and the renewal is added to your invoice, until you turn renewal off. Domain names cannot be refunded once registered.

If you stop using the Service, or ask us to, we will give you what you need to move the name to another provider (for a .nz name, its authorisation code). If renewal is off, or invoices for the name are not paid, the name may lapse and someone else could register it.

9. Barber Shops and Hair Salons (Tap & Cut)

If you sign up as a barber shop or a hair salon, CoreHub gives you only what you need for your website: the website itself, your services, prices and products shown on it, online orders and website chat. Bookings, the till, clients, staff and products are run in Tap & Cut, a separate service also run by us. The other CoreHub features are not switched on for these shops.

When your shop is approved, we make your Tap & Cut account for you, and you log in to it with your CoreHub account (“Log in with CoreHub”). To make this work, we share your details between the two services: your business name, contact details, stores, address, opening hours and logo are sent from CoreHub to Tap & Cut, your products are sent from Tap & Cut to your website, website orders are sent to Tap & Cut, and vouchers and discount codes are checked between them.

Your use of Tap & Cut is also covered by Tap & Cut’s own terms. If you close your CoreHub account, your Tap & Cut shop is not closed: you can keep using it by setting a Tap & Cut password with “Forgot password”.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, corehub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. In no event shall our total liability exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless corehub and its affiliates from any claims, losses, or damages arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if your subscription fees are unpaid.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new Terms on our website or by emailing you.
